ROTban Moss Removal Warranty

COVERAGE: Our 4-year Pro-Rated Warranty begins on the first day of treatment. This system uses science instead of brute force to gently and powerfully clean, protecting your roof’s integrity and increasing its expected roof life. This Warranty is transferable to any new owner of the property. From the first day through the first 7 months, ROTban and Nature are Working Together to clean your roof of destructive microbial growths without damage.

At 7 months the moss will be dead. At a point between 5 and 7 months from the initial treatment, we pay a Confirmation Visit to ensure the process is working. If any green and growing moss is present when we visit, we will Re-Treat the area immediately, or make plans to return for re-treatment. All Warranty visits are done at the company’s timing, which depends on multiple factors that affect logistics. We will send you an email about what was done when it has been done. For a re-treated area, the ROTban and Nature Working Together period re-starts for that area. After that, just send us a photo of any green and growing moss over the size of a fingernail and we will return to deal with it. ROTban ™ treatment is safe for your roof when applied by our trained technicians, and is also safe for the environment, including gardens, whether flowers or vegetables. ROTban is intended solely to starve out, and gently clean away moss, mold, lichen, mold and algae. Any damage done by worker error is responded to by the Company in a trustworthy and balanced manner

NOT COVERED: Areas not treated with ROTban. Leaks caused by installations on the roof before or after treatment, or from faulty installation of roofing. Moss under areas where trees are overhanging the roof. Proper roof care requires overhanging branches to be cut well back to prevent roof damage. Exceptionally dark and wet environments can cause changes in this written Warranty, if we know about them before quoting.

 My roof had about 2” of moss on it.  ROTban used an environmentally friendly spray which effectively removed the roof moss.  Also, ROTban honoured a long warranty whereby they re-sprayed the roof until all of the moss that had returned was gone.
